Kieran Sills-Powell is a junior at Summit Virtual Academy, as well as a 1st year student in New Market's Cosmetology program. Kieran is devoted to advocating for the people around her that go unnoticed, and works towards building a stronger sense of community.  

Kieran is involved with the City of Lacey, serving on their youth council. She also serves as a youth representative on Lacey's Commission on Equity advisory board. In addition to this, she is currently the only youth member in the Thurston County League of Women Voters, working along side them to create a more equitable Thurston County. 

Kieran has been involved in the Thurston Forward: DEI Summit, The Lacey Spring Fun Fair, The Lacey Multicultural celebration, and many other events within her community. She has also been awarded for her dedication to having a positive attitude and being a hard working student.

In her spare time, she loves to volunteer at local community events, attend social justice protests, and spend time with her dog.
