Kay’lisha Garcia

Kay’lisha Garcia was raised in Tacoma, WA. She was selected by the WSLB to be a 2020 Washington World Fellow and 2023 Compassion Scholar. Today, she is in her first year at CWU double majoring in secondary education and special education and after graduating she plans to start her teaching career in Tacoma, WA. She is a part of the Big Homie Program to help youth start a new path in the Eastside of Tacoma. She is also a part of many groups at CWU her favorite it the Black Student Union and she loves to make jokes and dance!
