Jennifer Shaar

Jennifer Shaar is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana.  She graduated from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps in 1992.  During her more than 30-year of military service, she rose through the officer ranks to Colonel and held leadership and support positions that provided her the opportunity and privilege of working, supporting, and leading the most incredible young men and women of this Nation.  She recently retired and currently resides in Washington D.C.  Her hobbies include just hiking, swimming biking, cooking, reading and theater, but mostly, she just enjoys being one with nature and friends.
