Gabriel Linares is a sophomore at Spokane International Academy and a dedicated student advocate for Washington State Youth, the LGBTQ+ community, and public charter education. He currently serves a two year term on the Legislative Youth Advisory Council, where he collaborates with lawmakers across the political spectrum on education and equity based policy. Gabriel also works as an intern at the Washington State Charter Schools Association, where he helped create a student internship program and regularly participates in statewide coalition meetings with other organizations, contributing to bill analysis and offering student perspective on the impact of different legislation. Outside of advocacy, Gabriel is a student athlete and holds the distinction of being the first student from his school to compete at the state level.
